OVERVIEW: The MLS Quest Challenge and Sweepstakes (the “Promotion” or “Campaign”) by SocialSweet, Inc. (dba and also referred to herein as “Sweet” or “Sponsor”) comprises a series of separate MLS quests, each with its own set of instant-win prizes for registered individuals who complete a MLS Quest (described below), plus a final drawing for a single winner of the Grand Prize from among those individuals who completed any applicable MLS Quest during the eligibility period of the Promotion (the “Sweepstakes”). Participation in each MLS Quest is separate. Participation in the Sweepstakes is open to persons who complete any of the applicable MLS Quests. The start and end dates, available prizes, and other details of each MLS Quest will be displayed on a dedicated page for that MLS Quest accessible through www.sweet.io and/or www.mlsquest.com (each a “MLS Quest Page”). Similar promotional programs associated with other sports leagues/teams/player associations/players may be offered by Sweet simultaneously or at different times; each such program is separate from this Promotion.

ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States of America and Washington D.C. and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence if the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence is greater than eighteen (18). Employees, officers or directors of Sweet, Soccer United Marketing, LLC, Major League Soccer, MLS NextPro, MLS Players Association, OneTeam Partners, LLC, or any of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, teams, active players, or any advertising or promotion agencies involved in this Promotion (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), as well as the immediate family and household members of each such person, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.

PROMOTION PERIOD: The Promotion begins on October 24, 2024 at 12:00:00 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on January 31, 2025 at 5:00:00 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”). Each MLS Quest within this Promotion will begin and end at the times listed on the applicable MLS Quest Page, or when all prizes for that MLS Quest have been claimed, whichever occurs first. The Sponsor’s database computer is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN AN MLS QUEST: During the Promotion Period, visit www.mlsquest.com or www.sweet.io (collectively the “Platform”) and register for an account with Sweet to participate in an MLS Quest, which is available for creation without charge and subject to the terms and conditions presented on the Platform, rules applicable to each MLS Quest on the Platform, and acknowledgement of associated privacy policies on the Platform. Then follow the tab to find the then-available MLS Quest(s), if any. If you are a new, authorized registered user and this is your first MLS Quest on the Platform, you will be granted a digital collectible (a “MLS Medallion”) from the set of MLS Medallions available at the time you register to begin your first MLS Quest. You may also obtain additional MLS Medallions related to a then-active MLS Quest via the following means, as and when made available by or through the Platform and disclosed on the applicable Quest Page, on a first-come first-served basis:

POSTAL REQUEST METHOD. You can request an opportunity to receive a specific MLS Medallion for use in an active MLS Quest, with the same odds as listed on the MLS Quest Page, by submitting a neatly hand-printed request with your full legal name, complete address (with zip/postal codes), age, telephone number, email address, Platform user name (you will need an account on the Platform, which is free to create), name of the applicable MLS Quest, and full name of the specific MLS Medallion that you are seeking and need to complete that quest, in an envelope, with first-class postage attached, addressed to SocialSweet, Inc., PO Box 523, Madison, NH 03849, Attention: MLS Quest Challenge and Sweepstakes. You may not request an MLS Medallion that you already hold in your Sweet account or a MLS Medallion that is not needed by you to complete the specific MLS Quest that is active at the time. You are subject to the same MLS Medallion limitations as any other participant in a quest, including, without limitation, any restriction on the number of packs or MLS Medallions available for purchase at the time of any drop related to an active MLS Quest. Each postal request must be hand-written by the person making the request, submitted separately, timely postmarked during the time period for the applicable MLS Quest listed on the MLS Quest Page, and received within three (3) days after the end of that MLS Quest. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, damaged, undelivered, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, or postage-due requests and the foregoing will not be accepted, acknowledged, or returned. Limit of one (1) MLS Medallion request per outer mailing envelope. Requests will be sent a response via email either with a code to receive the requested MLS Medallion (if randomly determined per the same odds for the same MLS Medallion to be obtained via any other means in the MLS Quest based upon the original commencement date of that specific MLS Quest), or a “sorry” or “try again” or other comparable message. MLS Medallions are available while supplies last on a first-come first served basis. Persons receiving a MLS Medallion as a result of a postal request will have 48 hours after receipt of such MLS Medallion to seek to complete the applicable Quest and qualify for a Reward Bag (see next rule below), even if the posted end date for the Quest has passed, subject in all cases to availability or prior exhaustion of the available Reward Bags/prizes for the Quest.

HOW TO WIN IN A MLS QUEST: Collect all of the different MLS Medallions needed to complete the set listed for the specific MLS Quest. Once you have completed the specific MLS Quest, your MLS Medallions will be locked. During the time that your MLS Medallions are locked, you may not transact those MLS Medallions in any way. The start, end, and unlocking dates for each quest will be listed on the applicable MLS Quest Page. Upon completion of a MLS Quest, and subject to the maximum number of prizes available for that quest, you will then be entitled to open a single “Reward Bag” to obtain one (1) of the listed prizes for the MLS Quest. There is only one (1) prize in each Reward Bag. See further details on Quest Prizes below. Limit one (1) Reward Bag (i.e., prize) per eligible person per MLS Quest, regardless of how many MLS Medallions a person acquires. After delivery of your Reward Bag and the published unlocking date, your locked MLS Medallions will be unlocked unless the specific MLS Quest expressly requires the permanent surrender of MLS Medallion(s), in which case such MLS Medallion(s) shall be permanently forfeited. One account per person. No sharing of accounts or email addresses allowed. While MLS Medallions can be sold and/or traded via the marketplace and “Trade Lounge™” on the Platform, MLS Medallions may not be loaned, temporarily gifted, traded with contingencies, transacted or otherwise used to evade any of the rules or applicable terms and conditions, here or on the Platform. Without limiting the foregoing, any attempt to exceed the limitations on the number of prizes in a quest via use of multiple identities, accounts, email addresses, bots, programs, or other means, is grounds for disqualification. The odds of obtaining any particular MLS Medallion in a MLS Quest in a single attempt or request, based upon the initial commencement date of the applicable MLS Quest, will be listed on the applicable MLS Quest Page.

MLS QUEST PRIZES: The specific prizes for each MLS Quest, with their respective values and odds, will be listed on the applicable MLS Quest Page. Limit of one (1) prize for each MLS Quest per authorized registered individual. The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of all of the estimated prizes to be redeemed in all combined MLS Quests during the Promotion Period, including the Grand Prize described below, will be approximately $75,000. The individual prizes available via the Reward Bags in each applicable MLS Quest (one (1) per bag and one(1) per person) will include an item from the following list, with the exact mix of items, values, and relationship to teams/leagues/players/third-parties subject to variation for each MLS Quest:

SWEEPSTAKES GRAND PRIZE:

Entry: Each time an authorized person with a valid account in good standing completes a given MLS Quest, such person will earn one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) Sweepstakes entry per MLS Quest and per such person.

Odds: Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Drawing: One (1) potential Sweepstakes winner will be selected at random, on or about February 8, 2025 from among all eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes. There will be one (1) Grand Prize offered in this Sweepstakes consisting of the Prize described below.

Grand Prize - 2025 MLS Ultimate Experience:

The Grand Prize includes a pair of tickets (i.e., two (2) tickets) for use by the winner (and the winner’s chosen companion) to each of the following four 2025 games and a $5,000 USD voucher for use by the winner to book travel and hotel for those games, in accordance with any additional voucher restrictions and expiration dates:

Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $10,500.

All transportation, lodging, meals, and other costs and expenses not otherwise expressly identified herein for any prize are the responsibility of the winner. Any companion attending any game who is a minor under the laws of his/her state of residence must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who also must execute all documents on behalf of the minor. Sponsor may conduct a background check on the winner and any companion to confirm eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. By entering, you agree to cooperate reasonably with any such background check. Failure to cooperate may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. The Grand Prize is non-transferable and no substitution by winners or cash equivalent is allowed. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Grand Prize for one (1) of equal or greater value if the advertised prize, or any part of it, becomes unavailable. All game dates are subject to change. No responsibility is assumed for cancellation or postponement of any prize-related event or travel beyond Sponsor’s control, including, without limitation, delays or cancellation of games due to pandemic restrictions, labor strikes, or Acts of God. No responsibility is assumed for illegible, lost, late, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, or stolen entries. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with acceptance or use of any prize, including the Grand Prize.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Each eligible person who completes an MLS Quest will receive notification via the Platform of the opportunity to open a Reward Bag to reveal his/her prize. The potential winner in the Sweepstakes will be notified using the contact information in their account on the Platform after the drawing (scheduled to take place on or about February 8, 2025). No liability is assumed for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason, including, without limitation, failure of the winner to provide accurate and complete contact information. Failure to respond to any winner notification within two (2) days may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. Each winner and companion may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release (where legal) (“Prize Claim Documents”). If a potential winner or companion fails to comply with Sponsor’s requests for Prize Claim Documents, is found to be ineligible, or cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, he/she may be disqualified and prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.

ADDITIONAL RULES: Acceptance of a prize constitutes winner’s permission for Sponsor to use winner’s and companion’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements, social media posts, and address (city and state) for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation except where prohibited by law. By participating, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Promotion. Promotion materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. No responsibility is assumed for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, garbled, incomplete or illegible submissions or other communications, all of which are void; (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of Promotion materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, mobile device, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive submissions sent to Sponsor on account of technical problems; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's mobile device or computer related to or resulting from participating in the Promotion.

Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any promotion it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion if Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, that malfunction, error, disruption or damage is impairing or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion. Any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, may be disqualified, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Only the type and quantity of prizes described in these Official Rules and the applicable MLS Quest Pages will be awarded. If, for any reason, more bona fide winners come forward seeking to claim prizes in excess of the number of each type of prize set forth in these Official Rules, the winners, or remaining winners, as the case may be, of the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question may be selected in a random drawing from among all persons making purportedly valid claims for such prize(s). Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Promotion, in whole or in part, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Promotion is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other unintended circumstances have impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Promotion as contemplated herein. If the Promotion is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner(s) in a fair and reasonable manner as determined by Sponsor among all eligible, non-suspect entries unaffected by the problem. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.

In the event of any dispute as to the identity of a potential winner, the potential winner will be deemed to be the authorized account holder of the email account associated with the entry or associated with the account used to participate in the Promotion. An “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the social media account used to enter.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Promotion, you agree that the Promotion Entities and any sports teams/leagues identified on any MLS Quest Page, along with their respective officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees and agents, (a) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Promotion or any Promotion-related activity, or from acceptance, awarding, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (b) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you further agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved in accordance with the Dispute Resolution and Limitation of Liability Sections in the Terms of Service on the Platform.
